No, dealership won't say anything about the scratch. They will about the tints though..unless u decide to lease another car from them once your current one is up.
Go back to who? Dealer or tint guy?

Re: Tint installer scratched my steering wheel. What should I do
I have an exterior detail scheduled this Saturday. My car needs some paint correction due to some dealer installed scratches. Should I get detail first them ppf or the other way around so detailer can lay wax on top of ppf

Paint correction first...then the PPF.

Did the marks ever go away? Did you treat it with anything?
They didn't go away as they are like yours but maybe not as bad, scratches in the leather. However, I've treated my Napa interior with Optimum Leather Protectant Plus. IMO it's by far the very best. Absolutely no sheen or change in appearance but it really feels great and helps condition the leather.
I don't notice the marks at all anymore. Again, partly becuase I'm an SCCA Auto X driver and practice proper hand position.

Hit is with 3000 a couple times. By the time your lease is up it will be worn from wear.

Take the paint film, the front of the car is going to take way more damage than that wheel. Besides in a few years, you will have worn that wheel down to where the issue won't be noticeable.

Re: Tint installer scratched my steering wheel. What should I do
The tint guy was such a nice guy and handled it professionally. I think he went above and beyond what most shops would have done so I let I let him decide. He chose to do the PPF, since it'll be in house. We agreed to do the PPF on the bumper, partial hood, partial fenders, mirrors caps, and top of rear bumper. I'm thinking maybe the mirror caps aren't really prone to damage (and easily replaceable) so I'll ask him to put the material toward the rear bumper since I parallel park in the city often. Or maybe do the whole hood. If it'll cost extra I'll pay for it. Since it's a "freebie" I thought it might be under the table so there's no warranty. But he said that it will include the 7 Year warranty on the Llumar film as well.
Made the appointment for Saturday after I get my car detailed.
Will update when it gets done.
Thanks all for our input!
