Re: How to Fix RaceDeck Free Flow Slippery Tiles

Thanks for sharing your experience Ryan. Sorry the floor turned out so slick. Guess I might not want to put this in my garage at home.

Re: How to Fix RaceDeck Free Flow Slippery Tiles

Wow, snaplock industries really makes me appreciate the Autogeek customer service. Seriously AG is top notch, any time I have an issue with anything it gets fixed right away.
I posted this video to YouTube and the CEO Jorgen proceeded to argue about why I'm wrong about the floor being slippery. I thought worst case scenario would be for him to call me or send a private email telling me I'm wrong, but instead he gets on a public forum (YouTube) and does it. You know what I'd expect from Autogeek? Nick would call me up and make his best attempt at understanding the issue and fix it as quickly as possible.
I love the flooring other than the slipperiness but because of my experience with Jorgen I am very tempted to send it back.

That's so dumb and it only makes the CEO look unprofessional.

And I agree - Nick & Co. would never pull that sort of nonsense.

I will agree that it looks a bit theatrical, but the reality is when you are working on a car you are hustling so I think it is a good representation of normal operation. You shouldn't need to watch your step like that while working, nor risk a lawsuit from a fall. For the cost, I'd expect much better performance and customer care.

The CEOs comments were in poor taste. And it sounds like poor customer service as well. I've been eyeing these for a long time hoping to one day purchase them. I guess I'll find another brand or just continue with the squeegee.

I was considering 2000SF of the tile...now I'm really not so sure.

LMAO!! wearing a helmet while doing it! haha nice!

edit: now that ive watched the whole video, im still a little skeptical of getting this floor. it should be ready to go out of the box. no modification needed.

That sucks to spend that type of money and have to modify it like that, but a least it worked.

Good ole made in the USA quality & care.. The only place where you can get the CEO call you everything but a liar on a public forum. Smh.

If my name was Jorgen, I'd purchase a ticket to Bend OR, and visit Finishing Touch Auto with one of my engineers.
    Then, onto Mt Bachelor.
Honestly. Invite him out. And ask him to bring some non-slip samples
