Those are septic tank clean outs

We are on a community water system that belongs to the HOA in our development, whereas the majority of houses in the area are on individual wells, but everyone is on septic systems

We don't live in a town, so there are no municipal utilities

Even in the towns around here the majority of the people are on wells and septic systems

Yeah, digital zoom sucks, the 2 smaller ones stayed down in the grass, almost invisible one either side, the bigger one stood up, giving us the evil eye till we were walking away, they didn't hop away like they usually do, the dogs looked, but didn't bark at them like they normally would if they were that close. I've been working on reducing their reactivity.

If I ever open the freezer, Gus magically appears. He loves ice cubes so I can usually get him to run thru all of his tricks first - shake, hug, what's the password? (speak), circle, etc.

My guys like ice cubes as well, I freeze some kibble in these 1 inch ice cubes trays as special treats for them. Buster likes crunching them whereas Ziva likes to lick them.

This is Hoggle and Kreacher, my daughters children



Hoggle is 85 pounds of solid muscle and Kreacher is 30 pounds of hair

My son in law had them running trails this weekend while he was biking and they came around a corner head on into a bull moose

Despite being much smaller and shorter Kreacher waded into that moose in an instant and led the moose away from the other two

Then when they were far enough away he came back with a single recall command

My daughter called him the brave little toaster
