This was on this morning's walk, this is the first time they've seen a chicken, and they really didn't know what to make of it. You can see their tails are a little tucked, the chicken basically ignored them, Ziva sort of wanted to chase it, but the fact that it didn't run confused her, and Buster was having a WT-F moment. If they knew that's where the chicken wings they had last night came from, I would have had a hard time holding them back.

The boss decided it was time for a new grandchild
She’s been watching the rescue sites and saw this 12-13 week old that actually came from the bush village we lived in years ago
She was an abandoned stray and hadn’t been claimed in her village rescue center so she was sent in to a rescue outfit in Anchorage
We picked her up last Thursday night and it’s been puppy 24 hours a day since then
She was listed as a Malamute mix and certainly looks it and she weighed 15 pounds when we got her
She’s probably going to be a big dog

She's adorable. The dog won't care how it's spelled. My sister decided to make her dalmatian Saoirse. That doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

Beautiful dog, and it's a cool name, regardless of how you spell it. Get a harness with a name tag, it makes it easier. I have no problem when I tell people Buster's name, but people used to get confused with Ziva. Their new harnesses have a reflective strip that's big enough to write their names in black marker, so nobody even asks anymore.
