Re: Show us your pet.
One of my favorite puppy pics. Can’t believe they sit still long enough for me to take a pic…

Re: Show us your pet.
He's got that old man look to him now. Poor thing is slowly going deaf but still plays like a puppy. His new favorite pastime is barking at the fence, which I find hilarious but others in the same household find irritating. Who's a gooood booooy......................

Re: Show us your pet.
My last dog went deaf, it worked in her favour because she was no longer upset by thunder, fire works, and other loud noises. You just had to remember not to startle her when you came up beside her.
Buster and Ziva have taken a liking to whatever is hiding in the choko vine recently. No barking, but lots of stalking. He's always down low, she likes to jump up on the retaining wall and take the high spot. Trust me, she's in there, but she is very fixated when hunting, she wouldn't come out for the photo op.

Waiting for their favourite toy to come out, the laser pointer. They actually try to herd it, one will chase it in one direction, but when it comes back past me it's the others turn to "get it". Buster is the lead though.

Re: Show us your pet.
Kaeleigh resting after a hard morning of getting dad to take her out every 10 minutes to find a new treasure to chew on
Forget the $$$ worth of toys laying around
At least she has never gone after anything that wasn’t hers
I can’t wait until we get a fence in the next month or so and she can play outdoors unsupervised

Bears, although I have yet to see any evidence of one
Moose obviously aren't predators but they will stomp a dog to death in a heartbeat, especially if the dog messes with a calf and momma is around, and we got plenty of moose in the area

I guess I should add wolves, we have them in the area, although they will rarely venture close enough to developed areas to be a big problem
There was a small group on the Air Force base a few years back that staked out and area and grabbed a few pets but they moved on
My son is also seeing a LOT more coyotes on base as well, they are even venturing out to the edges of the filightline
Kaeleigh is not quite 9 moths old and is already 63 pounds and although she is a mutt she is predominantly an Arctic breed and she would be more than a match for a single coyote, except there is no such thing as a single coyote
To be inclusive there are Lynx and Wolverine's too but again, seeing one even in the predominantly farming area here would be almost unheard of

Show us your pet.
Although they aren’t a threat to my dog, except possibly rabies, I forgot foxes
A really dark cross fox just walked across the back lot while I had Kaeleigh out
