Women, however, are less likely to cause terrible crashes because they overestimated their driving ability or were street racing. There's a reason young guys are the most expensive to insure.

For female drivers it's death by a thousand paper cuts...little things here and there. Young males go out in a giant ball of fire!
Either way, most American drivers are dangerous these days.

Driverless cars will be welcome in most cases where women are concerned. Then they can chat, text, fix their hair, polish nails, or whatever...
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

I really hate saying this about my own gender, but 98% of the time, whenever I encounter someone driving and they do some bone-head move, it's a woman.
I can't tell you how many times I come up to car car, SUV, etc and the woman driver is putting on makeup, talking on the phone, looking at her passenger talking... I could go on.
And just this morning some woman in a SUV pulls right out in front of me. Never even looked to see if it was clear and if anyone was coming... she was looking right where she was driving.
SIGH.
AMEN to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a GUY driving his Infiniti in the left lane on I-4 on my way to Orlando yesterday doing 75MPH with his Ipad on the top of his steering wheel.
But I agre, in most cases it's women doinf it.
My wife got rear ended in her new Sonata last week at a traffic light. Asian women behind her, Black girl texting and driving smashes into the Asian girl, offers them both $100.00, they refuse, she hops in her car and hauls A$$$$$$. Cops won't do a thing about. Think she had a license or insurance? That's one of the reasons we have such high insurance rates in Florida.

Yet another reason I avoid I-4 at all costs.
