"Detailing" a smartphone
Hey guys, got a crazy question here. So I just ordered a Motorola X smartphone which can be completely customized with different materials on the back at order time. Options are plastic, real wood laminate, and real un-sealed leather. I ordered one with leather, and I was thinking about coating the back with UIGP but I can't remember if it's safe to use on un-sealed leather. Would I be better off with something like saddle soap? Or would UIGP theoretically be safe to use on it?

Hrmm, not really looking to buy something just for this purpose, I already have the UIGP which works great on our vehicles. I've seen random "detailing" threads over the years of people using car products on their phones though and this seemed liked a similar situation.
