    Re: Robert's new-to-him Triumph TR6

BillE, I think the car was originally that god awful mustard color, it also shows signs of red in hard to get to spots
The car has an older restoration and was sprayed black
The quality of the paint was so-so
I wet sanded and finished the hood yesterday, maybe Mike Phillips could post a hood shot from last night

Awful is the understatement. Even "Mary Kay Pink" would be better.

    Thanx for the paint info.

    looking Great Robert!

seeing yours makes me want another..........but boy they are bringing big money these days.

my 76 was purchased in the mid 80's for 2500 bucks and it was in pieces, literally. Brought it home in the back of a pick-up truck, took 3 trips and 2 1/2 years to put it together......but it was a really fun project!

By the way Robert " the Roadster Factory" is a great source for parts and info on your TR. I also have bought parts from "British Victoria".

The word "impressive" is not enough to describe that finish!

    Well done...
