swam a lot of freestyle today and have been working on improving my breathing pattern which has helped extend my longevity and become less tired...

i know the proper way (in regards to swimming) is to catch air through the mouth and breath through the nose, but sometimes breathing through the mouth at certain points helps too (at least for me). only problem is you have to re-catch your breath after you do that and it gives you less air capacity in between strokes which can tire you out quicker. i've been experimenting and have found a happy medium in that regards. thanks for the offer

I do more headlights these days than detailing neither of which provide much exercise. Probably mowing the grass every 6 days is the most exercise I get now that I am 69 and retired from full time work. I get around 4 miles of walking every time I mow and I do enjoy it so I will continue to do it as long as I can.
2008 Toyota Tacoma 410,000 miles and still going strong.

ARC machine, legs, then sit-ups/core and stretching.

3.5 mile run this morning... another humid day but it's supposed to get cooler and less humid starting tomorrow!
Will be great Saturday for my long run of the week!
