FINALLY ordered some winter mats... got a set of OEM ones. They aren't "RS" mats (unfortunately) but I do really like OEM mats over aftermarket. They tend to hold up really nice, I like the material AND they are usually about 1/2 the cost of Weathertechs

You posted in my thread about "only" doing tint to your car this year but in reality look at what your driving, the hottest of all hot hatches, doesn't really need anything!

I'm still a kid, I put racing stripes on everything, LOL. I had a Crossfire and put a pair of slasher stripes down in front of the rear wheels.

    Re: DK News

I think the MINI community killed stripes for me... everyone went nuts with graphics

I still think well-done (and tasteful) stripe(s) or whatever decals on a car looks great.

    Re: DK News

Some MINI people do go nuts for sure! I had the factory ones and then had them taken off and had Cobra style done and then rocker stripes like I have on the Abarth but had an S out there, so I'm probably one of those people your talking about, LOL.

    Re: DK News

TRUST me, you are not! Some of the crap I saw on people's cars was hideous and so overdone.

I remember one car in particular that had been wrapped to look like a "Woody". It also had flames on it AND the windows had been tinted with mirror tint...
There was something on the roof as well, but I don't remember what. It had so much going on it was ridiculous. To top it off, all the vinyl wrapping was done very poorly.

Possibly the Union Jack (United Kingdom flag) on the roof?

    Re: DK News

There's so large of a turnout with MINI's with MOTD but when you go to cars and coffee's they are never around, here in Chitown or the D, never around.

Where are all these "enthusists" at for the brand?
