    First time with the PC

I finally got a chance to try the PC out yesterday. It was my first time working on a car with any type of machine. I used XMT360 and one of the 5.5" low profile orange pads. I was working on my old beater, a '95 Ford Ranger that I've owned (and neglected) since it was new. I'm getting ready to sell it and thought it would be the perfect practice vehicle as well as a chance to spruce it up before selling.

Thanks to all the advice I received here, everything went (IMO) very well. I finsihed about 1/2 the truck (will complete it tonight) and while I didn't remove every defect (that would take a body shop) I'm VERY PLEASED with the results. I may make a second pass on the hood and see if I can do a better job of removing the water spot etchings that are all over it. I noticed as I went I felt that I was getting better so maybe the 2nd time over will help.

I may try for some before and after pics of the 2nd half...

Looking forward to hearing more. Congratulations on your first PC session. It's exciting stuff to see the differences the first time. Not sure but I'll bet that everyone on here could remember the first time that they used the PC.

LOL - no need to manufacture "fun" - once the old truck is done, I've got to do the wife's Jeep and the new truck.
