Just picked up a pilot for the wife!

Congrats on your purchase. You made a very wise choice. I also have a taffeta white Pilot. The best protection you can put on it is 845. Hands down the absolute best for that white paint. It will bead forever.

Honestly, not sure. I'd just recommend that if you ever move something that left a mess, vacuum it soon after so that it doesn't build up a time consuming amount of debris in there! Hope you don't have a dog either lol.

BIG TIP...

Get your self a Boars/Hogs hair brush and a 5 foot handle...

I'm 6'2" and couldn't take all the work to wash the roof..( up and down step ladder)

The foam gun and this , takes me 2-3 minutes to wash

Now, I have a best new friend

I did the roof and hood and I don't see any...
I had a post prior to this and others claim its OK also..
I got a hogs hair , all aluminum product
works great!!

There are some good threads on the Boars Hair Brush here on AGO

Consensus seems to be that it must be soaked prior to use to soften the bristles which should minimize scratches.

If it were me, I would use the brush on the roof, windows and rockers. Then rinse and switch over to a high quality wash mitt and separate buckets with Grit Guards on everything else.

May take a few extra minutes, but IMO it's would be worth it.

You are going to like the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

I may take you up on that idea. I've used the Wolfgang on a 2001 white Mustang that was pretty rough when I got it. Used Megs 105/2015 and then the Wolfgang 3.0 sealant. It was my Mom's car, she thought I got it painted when I was all done.
