    'dipping' cars

If this doesn't belong here I am sorry, but I had to share this.
So some local kid is advertising he will 'dip' your car. His ad reads Dipping cars for 600 includes the paint, material and time to do the car. He includes a picture of his work.

    What is wrong with people?

I guess material to prevent over spray isn't included in that price.

He has black and white overspray on the wheels and tires, and not enough on the lights (why would you paint your lights)?

This is very popular in the JDM, KDM world.

Cheap way to "paint" your car.

Typically though you cover the wheels..not sure what happened here LOL

It's when you get the "Plasti Dip" spray in a can that is used for coating tool handles, etc... (think pliers with rubber handles) and paint your car or parts of your car with that rubber type coating. The "dip" comes in aerosol cans and gallon containers you can spray in a paint gun.

IMHO it looks like crap - pretty much like the handle of my pliers. I "dipped" some door bumper guards as a repair and ended up peeling it off because it just looked too "Tuned by Pep Boys" for me.

It's a relatively cheap way to change the color of your car.
