I would consider that, but
1. I think it's an easy fix, and
2. I JUST bought new pads and a new backing plate for it, so I'd like to stick to the Flex route for now.

Thx Flash
Welp... just handed the Flex off to my buddy to fix.
Should be done in a day or 2.
I shouldn't need it back THAT quickly

Well yeah, not taking anything away from Monica and her handy work but I'm sure someone who writes books, does vids and hosts a huge event every year is probably just a "tad" more experienced, not to mention is on TV and is very professional. Ones sex has nothing to do with it, if your the best your the best, male or female.

Re: Epic Detail Weekend
Weather or not Monica is on T.V., has a shop, teaches people or details while she's drunk. She did a fantastic job on that mini.
Way to go Mon

No offense to Mike, but I have more hands on experience then he does. I do this on a daily basis and have for the past 32 years. Mike can't claim that. He does 1 or 2 cars a week at best. I have that done by Tuesday

Re: Epic Detail Weekend
Let's not get too off track and take away from the obvious message that needs to be stated, and that is that Monica's car looks fantastic and represents Class A work. (Personally, I'm quite envious that mine doesn't look like that!)
Let's also remember that numbers and years of experience do not necessarily translate to quality. As a surgeon, I've seen plenty of people who have been operated on by very "seasoned" (i.e, older) and "experienced" surgeons who just didn't have anything good done to them.
As they say, the proof of the pudding is in eating: Nice job, Monica!

Re: Epic Detail Weekend
Yes, let's all stay on track.
I appreciate everyone's compliments... I started really looking into detailing maybe 2 years ago? I feel like since I've been on this forum, I've made my way to the next level.
Do I need to learn more? Absolutely.
But I'm very happy with what I have accomplished to this point
And I was very happy to share my crazy detail weekend with those of you that share my insanity
