Need Help Restoring Faded Rubber Floor Mats for Car
Good morning all,
I was wondering what product(s) you would recommend to restore faded rubber floor mats for a car? Below is a picture of a rubber floor mat from the drivers side of my vehicle (2016 Ford Escape). Very unsightly. Ugh!

You have any mothers back to black on hand? That’s what I used. Don’t be bashful putting it on. Then brush it in all the corners. Wipe off all the excess and you should be good to go.

WOW! That is REALLY impressive. I do not have the Back to Black. However, I have the Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer. I have both the aerosol and the "cream" versions. Really naive here, but how do you actually apply it so that it looks as poppin' as your mats?!

the back to black is a clear gel cleaner. that being said I washed and cleaned the mats first anyway. then I squirted the gel onto the mat and worked it in. just as if I was cleaning it. I used a rag and a brush to get it in all the grooves and corners. after I rubbed it everywhere I used a rag to remove all the excess. I even used some compressed air to get the excess gel out of the grooves. that's it. I mean it dried off almost feeling tacky. the only time I felt a little slickness was on a rainy day and my feet were wet. I would definitely give the meg's a try. do the passenger side first and see if it comes out slick. the back to black is a cleaner and meg's is a restorer, so I'm not sure how similar they are. post a pic when you're done rocketgirl.
