Both are very aggressive. I normally hate anyone who says "best in the world" IMO best is an extremely subjective term. Also a lot of CGs videos and website info is a lot of made up nonsense. I understand that a lot of advertisement and marketing is that way but something about The way CG presents themselves puts a bad taste in my mouth. Keep in mind this is all my opinion. I do have some CG products that I like I know they make great products but certain things bother me.

Ya. When they started advertizing their coating as something unique that no one else had (this after years of coatings being on the market) I gave up on them I hate false advertizing, to me doing that and frauding people is pretty much the same thing.

There's a huge difference. Let's take automotive.. a car company may say the car has "breathtaking acceleration" or "nimble, responsive handling" but you can always check the vehicle stats i.e. 0-60 time and weight distribution. They have to publish that data. If all else fails, you take it for a test drive. Hype is part of marketing, over promising or, frankly misleading info, is not. And it's no way to get repeat customers. There's an old saying.. you can sheer a sheep many times, but skin it only once.
Case in point: multiple videos show Gregg using a "workhorse" towel to buff the paint. Are you kidding me? That thing is BARELY above Costco grade. Second, look at their description/classification for Blacklight. Is it a glaze? is it a cleaner wax? Doesn't matter...b/c it can do it all. Just apply and your car will look "wet and fresh" (sorry, had to chuckle at that).

I do hate those misleading sales marketing tactics too. Like how the various department stores send out adds saying they are having the biggest sale ever. The sale to end all sales.

I agree about AA for sure though but it does serve a purpose, wheel well dressing.

Actually autozone doesn't sell Griots. Advanced Auto. Megs M101 is not found at either Auto zone or Advanced. M105 can be found. I've never heard of M201 I can only assume you mean M205.

I know what you mean though.

The brand of protection doesn't matter. At any dealer the surface most likely is not prepared to the highest standards and/or the coating is not installed correctly.
