    GM has already come into play and announced they will repair/restore the models as possible. The head of the factory has also pledged monetary support.

    Still got the Japanese OEMs, plus some of the German SUVs can tow a bit.
    IMO, the sink hole represents the bailout, and the priceless cars is our tax dollars that we'll never see again. But that's a whole other thread.

    Name any german/japanese vehicle that can tow what a 3/4 and 1 ton truck can........

    Nissan. Don't care if the towing capability is less or the Hp is less or whatever. They are reliable. My Pathy is 14yo and as good as new. I would buy a Nissan truck in a second.

    Sorry. I like our military and appreciate what they do. Just don't like American cars.

    Great analogy, and also a beautifully polished can of worm.


    One of the youtube comments suggested that they should install a glass floor and turned it into an exhibit, like from the movie Demolition Man.
