Most perf tires are 200 treadwear number, give or take and A for both temp and traction, so it's basically pay to play🚦

Re: Thinking about trading in the CR-Z for a Fiat 500 Abarth, thoughts?
With a little less than a 100 miles on my car while coming home from work Monday night since getting my latest mods installed (ported OEM TB and lightened crank pulley) I had a flashing CEL come on while messing around with a WRX. It flashed for about 10-15 seconds and went away. I never really got into it with the WRX and when I got off of the freeway I found a straight away and stood on the gas and had NO issues.
Then yesterday while going to work, about 10 minutes into my trip, driving normal, the CEL came back but it wasn't flashing, it stayed solid. The road was wet so I wasn't really able to "get on it" but the perf seemed fine to me when I got on the gas as good as I could. After work, the night supervisor plugged in our Snap-On scan tool in and it came up as P0300B (multiple misfire) and we cleared it out.
I plan on driving the car "normal" for a while to give the computer time to maybe learn the new parts. Any thoughts by you guys/gals in the know?

Did you get the car tuned after completing said mods?

I did not Nick. Last year around this time I had the tuning box and SRI installed but with those mods it was suggested to drive the car "normal" so the computer learns, which I did and NO issues at all. The next thing installed was the axle-back in the fall, so issues there either. So now it was the lightened crank pulley and the ported TB which is a factory unit FWIW.
I have 17.3K on the car and the plugs are original and require replacement @30K/

Hmmmm, if the code comes back, since you cleared it already, I would go back to the dealer. Hopefully it's the not the new parts..........Fix It Again Tony!

Remember the computer can only compensate for so much. I would have your tuner take a look at it. I bet he/she can find the culprit and fix it.

I don't think there was a TUNER involved, it's a piggy back system with certain settings or levels built in if I remember right.

Oh I see, kind of like those systems you see advertised for diesel trucks.
I have a Hondata FlashPro for my Civic Si and I had to have the tune done by a professional.

Talked to my buddy who's the service advisor at the FCA dealership and he said to drive it like normal and to let him know if it comes back...🙏

Oh and btw Nick Derek is right, it's a piggy back system, a 3 wife set-up. For that they say to wait at least 100 miles so the ECU learns everything again and we also had to unplug the battery when doing that as well.
I'll be leaving work in about 30 mins, we'll see how it goes, 26 miles since the clearing of the code for misfire.
