Same here, even with my RWD and snow tires i like driving on pure snow like in the picture.

It's really weird to click on the weather forecast for my area ... at the top - it's 70F right now.

And then - there's an advisory box with this in it:

WINTER PRECIPITATION AND SOME SNOW ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THURSDAY EVENING INTO FRIDAY.

and it will be 70F again on Saturday...

Honestly I would rather be where it's cold daily during the winter. Here it can be 70 degrees one day then 20-30 degrees the next day. It drives everyone crazy here. You never get adjusted to a temperature from the constant fluctuations.

I enjoy winter when it's not endangering anybody. It's the killer storms that really are tough to deal with.

Having grown up in western ny, winters are nothing like they were 30 or 40 years ago. Winters now are quite tame. I have pictures when we were kids climbing out our second story bedroom window and sliding down a snow drift that was as high as that window.

Now its a little bit of an inconvenience at times. It's the super cold that sucks not so much the snow.

I couldn't agree more, I would be more than happy to put up with the cold if we could have some beautiful deep snow to look at. Instead it's all brown and grey slush frozen solid. Like we skipped the snowing part and went straight to deep freeze.
