My Christmas Scare

Tonight was going to be a great night. I read to my girls and waited for them to go to sleep. The wife and I put out the gifts and had our own celebration. I then went downstairs to assemble one last gift for the girls. I came back upstairs 10 minutes later with a total memory loss. No idea of what day it was or anything. Clara called me an ambulance and I was taken to the hospital. Blood work and a CT scan showed nothing. They're thinking I had a TIA. My memory came back to me in the hospital. I will be off work for a week or 2 with tests to try to pinpoint what caused this. For now, I seem to be fine again. Bloody weird and frightening too. I'm home now and glad I didn't screw up Christmas morning for my girls.

Merry Christmas. I had this happen to me once when I was 26 years old. Freaked me out. It was at work and I had information overload going on. Working 60 hours a week trying to learn a trade etc... The next day I was back to normal. I never had it looked at. It was 21 years ago with no repeat episode. Good luck to you

That is not fun, especially on the holidays. If it was a TIA there is medication you can take that's simple and not too bad.

Glad you are OK! Being over stressed can affect your body in so many ways! Sometimes you don't even realize your stressed out! I've had it happen before and it's not fun! With that being said, We Wish you and yours a happy, healthy, Merry Christmas! And don't forget to sit back and relax! Lol
