    Joke of the day

So we had to detail a 2010 45' Prevost H3-45 motor coach today for a dealership in the area. Besides being 45' long, this beast is 15' tall, valued at 1.8 million. After spending 8.5 hours, with three of us working on it, (2 on DA's polishing / waxing, 1 cosmetic detailing engine/generator) we were done. The owner of the dealership tells me that the previous detailer detailed them for $550 each and did 3 of these in 10 hours including detailing the engines and generators. I don't think this is possible Even just using Hydro2, 1 person couldn't do 3 of these busses in 1 day. I wonder why he is the previous detailer.

I bet that the previous detailer thought that a detail was a wash using a soap with wax in it.

And that detailing the engine was hitting it with a can of Gunk and a hose.

3 of those beasts in one day, that sounds about right...

That's about what it became but not what it was supposed to be. In the beginning, I guess he did good work. He would spend 1 day on a bus. Then they had 2 buses and he got them done in the same amount of time and then 3. It sounds like originally he detailed them and when the workload got bigger, his work got smaller. Screamed of a wash with wax in it. He had a cash cow until the company figured it out.

Definitely sounds right. One of those beasts in a day kicked my 6. Three would force me into an early retirement.

    Here are a couple pics

Maybe he figured people who have that much money, have more money than sense and wouldn't know the difference.
