Re: Fellow Geeks input on wheel selection

I'd say 1 or 2. #1 is my preference because not only is it a better looking wheel than the other 2 but it would also be very easy to maintain.

I thought I said number 1. Why is this thread still alive?

BBS LM's are a classic wheel that will never go out of style.... if you have narrowed it down to those 3 styles then I would go with the LM's. If you are worried about best price, there are TONS of LM replicas. Check out Linea Corse and Varrstoen for some of the more popular replica branded wheels - you'll save a lot of money, but may sacrifice some quality in materials.

If it were me... I would go with a more concave wheel like these Linea Corse 818's... they're a personal favorite of mine.

1 & 3 are clean imo. Leaning towards 3. Cant go wrong with a fat 5 spoke.

If you can afford legit LMs, why not broaden your selections a bit?

Re: Fellow Geeks input on wheel selection

I have always been a fan of BBS wheels. Yes they are pricey but they hold there value years later if you ever decide to sell them down the road.

Another good choice that I was looking at when getting my wheels was VMR. They will custom powder coat any color you want but have over 100 already custom colors. They are about $1600 a set without tires and close to $2000 if your looking for say 19's. They are made for higher end cars

Audi,Bmw,Mercedes but look great. Google search VMR wheels under images tab and i'm almost positive you will like what you see according to your choices. - Tory
