    Books

What books do you guys like/recommend that you have read.

It does not have to be Detailing related but can be.

I will be getting the Auto Geek books (soon)

    I just read:
    •Life of Pi
    •The Secret
    •Change of Habit
    •21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
    Currently reading again
    •The Art of War

    The Homeric Hymns, Homeric Apocrypha...
In fact: Anything by the Greek poet Homer.

Some will argue that this includes the two best books, besides the Bible, that were ever written...
    Homer's:
    1. "The Iliad"
    2. "The Odyssey"

Harry potter series, percy jackaon series, odd thomas series, enders game series, lord of the rings series, fablehaven series, nicholas flamel series, dark tower series, beyonders series. I really like a good series. lol theres more. Thats just what popped in my head at the moment.

in a few months a movie will be coming out called "Enders Game". I highly recommend reading that book in advance. Do yourself a favor and take a recommendation to heart and read it. :-)

I have read Harry Potter, all of Harry potter plus the movies, was even that 2 halloweens ago hahaha , all of Enders Game (beautiful series, wish they made a movie out of it, just to tune in but there was very light controversy, I think, with Orson Scott Card. But also looks like the movie might be made. lol) Lord of the Rings, but will be checking out FableHaven

    Thank You

I know we studied the Odyessy at school but will be looking it and into The Lliad

    Thanks Guys

(I pinky promise I didn't listen to the Twilight series lol)

Very good post here. Also, I would recommend The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. It's a collection of 3 stories known as Inferno (most have heard of this one), Purgatorio, and Paradiso. It's a very long read, but a great one.

    Re: Books

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry into Values by Robert M. Persig

One of the more enjoyable insightful reads that I can recall. Very good book.

For lighter reading, I like espionage/counter-terrorism thrill rides, Vince Flynn's novels (there's 13 of them) are some of the best. Absolute page turners that you won't put down. Another good option in this category is Nelson Demille's The Lion's Game, Nightfall, and the Lion.

One other noteworthy trilogy is Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan's Strain series.
