Ended up about 200 miles from my house. Watched the sunset on the beach and just thought about everything in my life. Sometimes we just need to get away from it all if even for 5-10 minutes.
Ya know, I love jumping in my car and going for somewhat long rides. I've probably never done over a hundred random miles, though. I think a nice trip is in order for me. A whole tank of gas, riding out in the country areas in Florida.

I don't know where in Florida you are, but a drive through the keys is good therapy for me. Overseas Highway (US1).

We all need something to relax us to take our minds off things that stress us out. Just so happens mine is detailing my car. You cant let something you love become something that causes you stress.

You'll get through it an if you need someone to talk to just PM me an I'll get you my number.

Man I hope you are feeling better. I normally find detailing very relaxing. Just think about it. It is only you and your car. I put my phone down always. No one bothers you. You are making it into too much of a "job" it should be fun. Even though I run my own detailing business and it is my job; I really enjoy doing it. Try to make it relaxing for yourself.

I have to say this is for sure one of the greatest forums out there. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It is nice to see.

    Here's a little update... lol.

Since I posted this whole deal, I've basically pushed my car out of my mind and I haven't been worrying about it. I think I'm slowly getting ready to give it a good detail and be in the right frame of mind while doing it.

Thanks again for all the kind words of advice. I actually find that pretty amazing. Internet forums are usually filled with rotten creeps, and I got not one negative response from anyone here. I greatly appreciate that.

I'm getting excited for the weekend.
