Max's New Mustang Project - 1965 Mustang Convertible

Max's New Mustang Project - 1965 Mustang Convertible

Looked what rolled into Autogeek this morning...

This is a shipping company Wayne Carini personally recommended as a car moving company that will do the job right, no problems...

    Look what's inside... a 1965 Mustang Convertible!

Here's the truck driver driving the Mustang out of the truck...

Here's what she looks like right off the truck...

    Interior shot...

Here's Max with his new 1965 Mustang Convertible...

This Mustang has the original 6-cylinder engine and 3-speed automatic...

    Keeping her in the family...
This Mustang belonged to one of Max's relatives since it was brand new and Max said he would give it a good home and park "Genny" next to "Harvey".

    Ivan approves!

This will also be our Thursday Night Project Car this week!

That funny as I was thinking the same thing! You know what would be cool, a 2.0L Ecoboost, keep everything else stock! That Stang looks like it came out of a time capsule, WOW!

Wow nice ride!!! Congrats on the Mustang, Max!!!

Any plans on modding the car or will it be all stock?

I can't wait to see the extreme transformation of this bad boy and see Mike's magic make it look new again!

Max is considering upgrading to the V8 option but keeping it period correct. Who knows though. We have a lot of friends in the local Mustang clubs.

My new brother-in-law even has a Big Block Ford 427 Side Oiler all fresh and ready to go.

First we're going to clean her up and then she's going in for a tune-up and new fluids...
