I had an amazing idea today...

Well, at least this idea is amazing in my book. I believe that I saw this idea once before on this forum a while ago, but have only now tried it. In that case, it's not entirely my idea... but anyways.

I play a lot of first person shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield on the PC, and I sometimes have issues with my mouse sticking to my mouse pad. This can end up costing me points in game...

I broke out some Blackfire AFPP and used it on my mouse pad (slightly rough black plastic) on a hunch that it might solve my issue. For good measure, I also applied blackfire to the feet on my mouse.

Now that it's all dry and I've let it to cure a little bit, I tried it out. It's like my mouse is gliding on air, and it never ever ever ever sticks now. =D

I'm not sure how long it will last, but I can imagine that the constant movement of the mouse will shorten the life of this sealant considerably.

Has anyone else tried this? If you haven't, you should!

One time when I was really bored I dressed my subwoofer casing, speakers, 360 controllers and so on with Meg's Ultimate Protectant. Still looking fresh, hahaha
