Apparently, "DA" isn't just for dual action
Just had to relay this funny story to the folks out there...
Stopped for gas on the way home from work this afternoon, and a guy followed me out of the convenience store. We ended up having a quick detailing related conversation that went like this:
Him: "Now that's how a BMW should look!"
Me: "Thanks man I really appreciate that"
"Yeah it looks really nice - I do detailing at xxxxxxx down the street"
"Oh that's great, what kind of stuff do you use?"
"I use a lot of Mother's" (points scored for him)...."and Turtle Wax" (even on points now)
"Great, do you have a DA"?
now, wait for it.....
His response: "Yeah but I've been sober for about five years now"
It took me a moment, which is a good thing...I had to stifle a little chuckle when I realized what he meant...
"That's great, congrats - have a good one!"
Just couldn't resist posting this - careful how you use "DA" out there!

Now, that's quick thinking. I'm not sure what my response would have been. That is funny though.
2008 Toyota Tacoma 410,000 miles and still going strong.

Haha, well that's interesting!
To me DA means "Decision Altitude," the minimum altitude you can fly an airplane down to on an instrument approach (ILS).
Every time I hear LSP I think of "Lumpy Space Princess" from the cartoon Adventure Time.

HA! What's your favorite Lumpy Space Princess?
As a budding glider pilot (about halfway there) "Decision Altitude" makes sense too!

I always remembeer my flight instructior saying; "Don't run out of altitude and ideas at the same time"!
That DA thing is funny.

I remember those days FUNX725 although the hair style called a DA stood for "ducks ass" which it does resemble if you think about it. Sorry if I offended anyone.
