    You are correct...it's only the pure whites that are single stage paint.

    I know back in late 80-90s they use to do single stage on fleet sales don't know if they stool practice this.

    TSB from 2007 regarding toyota paint. From what i've seen, Ive seen lots of dulled out newer toyotas. I have a regular who comes in with an '11 or '12 Sienna that has oxidation spots all over. She even had a sealant applied from the dealer. Looks weird. She just doesnt have time to take it in she says. I'd be pissed.

    I detailed a Toyota Carolla, white, that was single stage.

    Took me a second to figure it out too!

    No problem.

    Apparently, anything with no metallic flake in it from Toyota is Single stage. If it has metallic flake it's cleared.

    Lots of Toyota owners are mad!

    My fiances 11' Toyota Camry in Blue Ribbon Metallic has a clear coat on it a rather hard one IMO.
