Running a Detailing Business For 3 Years

Running a Detailing Business For 3 Years

    Hey All,

Just wanted to toss in a few words about running a detailing company

    Year one :

I started with nothing but a vac, rotary, some biz cards, and a few products. Creating great customer service is what gave me great clients

    Year 2 :

Knowledge from AG + quality work = a sustained clientele and the ability to perform above and beyond throughout the year! Thank you AG for that, and thank you to all that helped B & B grow personally in Middle TN.

    Year 3 :

While I feel that I am an expert in detailing now through experience, be it auto, bus, rv, boat, and/or aircraft - I know that there is ALWAYS something more to learn and I will always be thankful to AG and Rely on AG at the same time to be there when I need a hand. After 1000's of autos, hundreds of buses/rvs, and thousands of aircraft - I still feel that AG has tons to offer.... and I thank all members for that! This will be a great year .

Really just wanted to give a shout out to all that have helped me from this site in the past couple of years - and I hope I have helped 3 fold compared to the info tossed my way! Thanks again AG brothers and sisters!

B&B Tennessee, props for always saying it how it is. Almost 18 years pro detailing & I still learn & am happy to do so. I'm nearly finished year one owning my own detailing shop after detailing for wages for 17 years, 14 of the for one company. Been having a blast so far & building a very strong reputation & a ever growing client list. Here's to a great 2013 for us detailers huh! B&B Tennessee - love your work & your attitude too, keep them posts coming yeah? ProDetail - best of luck going it solo, keep the standard high & the rest will follow.

Be prepare for a but of struggle at first. I'm having a tough time on my own, but the lack of stress is more than worth the pay cut.

Way to go B&B, I hope to get to that point some day. It's good to see a detailer make it from just the basics needed for the job. I love this stuff and only wish I knew that there was a way to connect with other like minded folks sooner. I didn't know there was so many of us out there. I'll be turning 50 this year but am in shape and like physical work, so Lord willing, I'll be where you are 3 yrs. from now.
