Gas Station Car Wash.. THIS ONE IS COOL!

So I hate gas station car washes, the ones that whack and swirl your car with those rock filled brushes are just as bad as the touchless ones that use heavy detergents to strip your paint clean, removing all LSPs.

But I saw this German one (i think) and was blown by how awesome it was!

If you owned an automall, having one of these would be a time saver!

    check it out!

I stay away from those, especially with those types of rubber brushes. I was in Dallas on business for a weekend, but changes were made and I ended up staying for a month. My car was super filthy and I didn't take any cleaning supplies so I went to one exactly like this, everything was good until I noticed how thick and hard those rubber brushes were. It felt like there was a group of hoodlums with broomsticks beating my car from all sides. After I exited I immediately got out to check my paint and there were small scuffs and scratches on the hood, doors, and trunk. If I have to use any kind of drive thru its a touchless wash only, it may strip the lsp but Id rather just reapply lsp than do a 4 hour correction and reapply lsp.

Christ! Literally! That's awesome engineering, but it's a swirlomatic on steroids!

I would like to see a perfectly polished black car make a trip through that and see what it looked like afterwards.

There were only two parts that didn't make my cringe, the air dryer and the vacuum station. The rest was painful to watch.

Never seen an automated where two (car) wheels are stationary and two rotate. Most have a roller that pops up on the drivers side and pushes the rear tire down a set of rails. Ran and did maintenance on an automated briefly while in high school.

The thing must be a mile long, looks great with excellent engineering. All that money and they can't get somebody to sweep up the 5 inches of dirt on the pavers especially after you come out with a clean car. Good video thanks for sharing.
