Having trouble transferring pictures from lap top to PC
I have around 200 pics I'm wanting to upload to my website but I cant seem to figure out how to transfer them to my computer. Last night I transferred about 100 pics to my memory card and saved them to my PC.
Now today I can't seem to be able to paste them to my memory card. After I select all I go to the e drive which is where the card is but when I open it up the paste button is shaded and I can't click it. I even tried putting a thumb drive and that won't work either.
Any help on what to do?

Have you tried simply just dragging the pics into the E:\ drive?
Also try Ctrl+V

If this is a SD card or a Micro SD card, the card might be locked. There is normally a small slider on the card. Slide the switch to the other end and plug it back in. you might be able to get access after this.

Re: Having trouble transferring pictures from lap top to PC
If you routinely need to sync pics between different computers or devices you should check out Dropbox. I use it on all my computers and my smartphone. I love it because I can take a pic, have it auto upload to Dropbox, then when I get home it's already on the laptop ready to upload to my favorite forum! It is basically like having a "shared" folder on all of your devices except you don't all have to be on the same network. The folder will sync anywhere you have internet access so you always have access to your files... and it's free. End of sales pitch lol, I just really love it!
It might help you out if you are having trouble with your memory sticks because you wouldn't have to fool around with any traditional storage media.
