What if money was no object by Alan Watts

What if money was no object by Alan Watts

A good friend shared this with me over the weekend. I liked it and thought I would share it with our forum community, especially anyone that's recently lost a job or looking for something to do with their lives.

Thank Mike for sharing. It really puts things into perspective about what is important. The fact that money shouldn't be the deciding factor in what we pursue in life as far as a career is concerned.

i 100% agree. The only other things i love to do are research online, and play video games.

I honestly do not think i could get paid for any of this.

I think the bigger picture presented in the video is the idea of following your passion in the context of a vocation, that is doing something that you like that also provides some type of product or service to the world around you.

There's value in all work or vocations no matter what the job. I've had jobs I absolutely hated and I've had jobs that I absolutely love, all of them provided a product or a service.

At least I think that's what the idea being presented is all about.

I'm a research onlineaholic, and when I'm not doing that I'm playing video games or working on a car

You can make money playing video games btw. eSports is growing and if your good enough....you can make some serious money. I have a couple friends who have gone Pro and make money playing games lol. I've made money in a couple tournaments and coaching Starcraft 2. I'm just below pro standards, my current rank is Top 15% of the Top 2% in North America. I practice with pros and try and make them sweat, I just don't have the time to put into improving any more.

I'm not sure if I'm still on topic. I haven't watched Mike's video yet...
