THERE'S a paint code on the car.........any reputable paint shop can match it by code as long as the paint on the car now is the original.....if the original paint changed over the years?? then they can blend over the front fender and rear door if it's a four door--------2 door over the rear 1/4 panel............

IF thats the case.....a good shop can match the paint 90% and do the blending as i said before to make the side of the car uniform........very easy to an experienced painter and mixer.......

i would learn to live with it...it will always look off..sun has faded that paint to much for a paint shop to match it based off of the original paint code...yes there are a lot of great shops that can blend/fade the paint but it will still be noticeable on a car that old...fresh paint even when color matched still looks "fresh" compared to the older panels...

Photguy30523, as Bill mentioned having the door repainted shouldn't be a problem if you list your and location someone here can help direct you to a reputable shop..

I agree ........but if i were to go that way??? i'd machine/hand polish/wax that car to a pristine look, and then do the painting / blending....that way it would have some sort of a natural looking state to the rest of the car.... .
by the way.what color is the car????????????....
