    Wax Choice >$100

I will be in the market for a under $100 carnauba wax here soon. My Souveran is almost out after about 4 years of use. I absolutely love Souveran but would like to try something else. This wax will be for a Black 67 Chevelle SS that is only shown and taken to cruises so longevity is not an issue. It has been fully corrected and I like that little something extra a nice carnauba gives. I'd like to stay around $100. The black paint is very soft so easy on and easy off is a must to keep swirls away. I also like the deep look opposed to the shiny plastic look. I was thinking of trying the Migliore Primo or BF Midnight sun? I am open to suggestions.
    Thanks

    The Chevelle

Since your paint is very soft, will Opti-coat your paint help in preventing swirls?
After Opti-coat, apply your favourite wax on top?

Yeah, I vote for Fuzion, too. I had Souveran paste, then got a sample of the Fuzion, then quickly traded off the Souveran. My car is a black show car, too, with soft clear.

Just like these vintage ads suggest: ('A Resolve') ...

...it's hard for me to turn away from "something I absolutely love".

Goes against my grain, as well as the mantra: "Find something you like (let alone 'love', I'll add) and use it often"! ~M.P.

But, of course, that's just me...and my aplomb!

Sounds like fuzion is at the top of the list as of now. I always thought that it was a carnauba/synthetic blend and gave off more of a sealant shine. I will have to do a little research on it. Thanks for the ideas!!

I actually thought about just ordering more souveran but I got that itch to try some other things out. I can always go back!!

Blackfire Midnight Sun. Easy on and easy off. Gives a nice warm glow too.

    Are you sure??

Now...This is the most expensive wax I've ever purchased...(Pinnacle Signature Series II):

And...because I've come to enjoy it's characteristics...(I can't find it within myself to "love" something that can't reciprocate)
I won't be switching to any other, more expensive, 'carnuba waxes'.

    Again...That's just me!

I'd strongly suggest Midnight Sun for under $100 but I'm also leaning toward Dodo Juice straight 8 if you're just looking for something different. Why try one different wax when you can try many?
