The new Genesis' coupes are NO joke, 274 hp turbo 4 and 358 hp V6 and I wouldn't be surprised if the R-code V8 finds its way into one them from the factory too, why not!

I just checked and the turbo 4 is a hair under 3300 lbs and the V6 is under 3400 lbs and I like the fact that you get upgraded brakes and suspension bits with the track packs. The new front end is even better lookin' and have great interiors, pay attention to the Korean's, they're not the butt of jokes anymore!

I considered a Mustang, a Camaro and decided on a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon. I got a four cylinder however Motor Trend Magazine put the V6 up against them and a Dodge Challenger and it out performed all threee of them two months now and will put it up against any of these three anyday. Here is a pic.

^^ That's a good lookin' car but its not a Genesis and you know what, I wouldn't be surprised if Hyundai doesn't come back with another Tib at some point, they always kept getting better lookin' with each version, the one above is the last version and IMO is the best lookin' one for sure!

Congrats on another ride man! I love the looks but when I sat in and drove one, I just could not get over all the blind spots it seemed to have. My buddy bought a new SS not long after it came out, dropped a comp cam, a maggy blower, and some exhaust and came up with 645@ the rear wheels on 6lbs of boost. It now has the zl1 front end on it (Which was the 3rd in the country to do that) with a full suspension set up to boot! Very sweet ride for sure.

The 13GT has grown on me alot and I would prefer it over the 11-12 any day of the week. That said It would start getting modded just after a few thousand break in miles haha. I'm 100% in love with the C6 ZO6 though. That car just does something for me everytime I see one.

But given the choice I would be in a new 13gt500. Ford has done an awesome job with their new line up. The styling, interior, did I mention power? Simple bolt on's really wake this monster up. It's a new era of horsepower wars and I'm sure glad to be alive to witness this one! Competition between the 3 is great, it just means things will only get better!

Mark, as long as your happy driving whatever your driving then that is all that matters. Some day you may run across a deal you cannot pass up on a low mile used C6ZO6 who knows.

All this talk has made me think of something, where is Mopar in all of this, not alot of buzz for the new 6.4L Hemi w/ 470/470. I mean I know there's modded ones out there but they seem to be left out in all of this, not just our convo but in general. I'm reading about a new Barracuda SRT in the pipeline, surely that's going to be the new chassis'd one, smaller in size, thankfully, so its going to get interesting in the upcoming years, even the Camaro is supposed to get smaller, going forward in reverse.......LOVE IT! Like mentioned earlier, glad I'm around for this round of the horsepower wars, I was born when it all ended, 1970, compression ratios fell, leaded fuel and that was that, only a few "stand outs" after that like the 73-74 SD T/A's for instance. It would take another 10 years after that for things to start to "wake up" once again, another 10 after that to hit its stride and now, 15 years after that, we are where we are, V6's with over 300 hp, hell, we've got 2.0L domestics w/ 260 hp and dealer offered tunes putting those up to 290/290, a set up that would crush most of the old muscle cars of the 60's and 70's!
