Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds
I like the Meg's towels, pretty hard to beat for the price. They're somewhere a notch above Kirkland Golds and a notch or two below Cobra/MFT/TRC etc. 360-430s. The 20-packs are a steal when you can find them.

Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds
I bought some 20 packs from there but the edges were all frayed. Still a good deal though. IMO the retail 3-pack and these singles are far better quality

Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds
Dub is alright for the price, but I do not have much to compare it to other than APC. Just picked up two more. Only had one left in the store last night, and two in the other store today. Where still honoring sale, and flyer had not updated. Got some EagleOne Crome (acid) wheel cleaner while there too for $5, but not a cheap buy since Wally World sells for just less than $5

Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds
The DUB wheel cleaner is great and at $5.00 it can't be beat. It sprays on green and turns RED when it's working. I have bought 6 of them in the past week and won a bet with my wife and have 4 more coming!

You might want to go back there and ask them if they can order it from another store for you that's what my local advanced auto parts did for me.

I might have to do that. If they order it, will it still be clearanced?

Incredibly Cheap Finds
The benefit of Dub Wheel Cleaners and the like is that they will remove iron particles from the wheels. Wheels are iron particle central because they are shed by almost all rotors and some brake pads. Traditional pH neutral or basic wheel cleaners won't do this so well. So, while an acid may remove iron - it can damage wheels and calipers after repeated use.
The only other way to really get iron out of a wheel is to clay it - and since you have to clean the wheel before you clay it - you might as well just use an iron removing wheel cleaner every once and a while and be done with it.
Over time iron embedded in paint can damage the finish permanently and creat ugly pitts or rust marks.
Really, the Dub stuff is just about as good as Sonax or whatever - but it's a lot more cost effective.
