Helpful tip
I'm sure many have realized this but for those who haven't had this happen to them...
Be cautious of leaving all weather floor mats on grass on extremely hot days or this will happen....
luckily it was my own lawn but still! never even thought to think how hot the grass would get under black rubber floor mats on a 90 degree day! 
live and learn...
