    Curb Rash

Anybody have any idea on how to repair curb damage to a rim? Is it better to have someone professionally do it? I know the rim is not bent or damaged, just an eye sore. HELP!

I certainly don't have the talent to do it myself. There's an outfit called Alloy Wheel Repair where I live that specializes in multiple types of wheel repair including polished and painted aluminum. I've seen some of their work and it's amazing what they can do. I'd do an internet search for wheel repair in your area.

Tried that approach. Everyone is $125-175 per wheel. It honestly isnt that bad, just bad enough where it bothers me. I watched some videos of it on youtube, but Im not sure I have enough testicular fortitude to do it myself.

Right on time for this thread. I scuffed up BOTH my right rims. They're not bad...it just pisses me off everytime I look at it. I was thinking about taking them to a rim repair shop but I ain't fittin to pay $150-$200 to repair it. I may look into doing it myself. I'm scared LMAO!

I had Alloy Wheel repair fix mine from a curb rash , well worth the 120.00 plus tax ,it looked perfect when they were done with it .I would say if you don,t have the correct equipment don't even bother to attempt the repair because your labour would be worth more than what it would cost to fix by a pro .just my 2 cents

Has anyone ever repaired the curb damage themselves? If so, what was your process? I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra if that makes a difference? I see a lot of replies about outside sources fixing it, but I am pretty handy and can tackle many tasks, just need directions!
