    A guy I work with is planning on doing this to his car. After he saw how it held up on his wheels, he's sold.

    It's not for me, personally. It just doesn't go down smooth enough unless reduced and sprayed properly. In that case you might as just re-spray with a proper matte paint.

    I did plasti dip on my old wheels and they looked great when they were clean. You wouldnt have known that they werent powder coated if you didnt know about the plasti dip.

    Why not. Doesn't destroy your paint. Better than vinyl in terms of cost and ease of applying and removing.

    I've got my wheels plasti dipped and they look great, and it's totally reversable for when I sell the car. Personally I wouldn't want to do an entire car, but I can see why this is popular. Now anyone can pretty much paint their car in their driveway, and have pretty good results. I honestly think it's pretty cool.

    I just saw this video a couple days ago because I plan on Plasti Dipping my wheels and grill. They claim it will last over a year, but for $5-7 a can i don't mind re applying. Plus if I don't like the look of it I can just peel it off.

    Now painting your car with it, why would you ever do that.
