    Car cover

Has anyone used the Costo custom fit Coverking XtremeWeave car cover? I was if its good for winter? Can it be used in harsh conditions such as rain, snow and ice?

This one only cost only $150 from Costco (custom fit for your car). I know covercraft (noah) is good but they are expensive. Any input would be helpful?

Here is the link to the car cover

    Thanks

I don't believe in them either. No matter how well you care for them.... you would basically have to wash your car every single time you are going to put it on. Otherwise any dust or dirt will get on the inside of the cover and when you take it off or put it on you will scratch the vehicle. It makes no matter how soft the cover is. The dirt will scratch the paint.

I know but I don't have a car garage and I don't drive this car daily. Just weekends.

My car is kept outside and covered by a California Car Cover(SupeWeave). Does a great job but does cause marring and light clear coat scratches.

Likewise. They cause scuffs and scratches with any breeze or wind.

DO NOT get a car cover!!!! My pops has one for my moms car and it puts scratches in the paint everytime he puts and it and takes it off.

If I put two layers of collinite 845 and leave it outside will it will be fine for the winter (snow, rain, ice) even though its not a daily driver?

IMO....There's a lot more to ensuring a vehicle..."will be fine for the winter"... than a couple coats of Collinite 845!!!

IMO...you'll be better off doing this than getting a cover. I wouldn't put a cover on my car, now that I've learned a few things on this site.
