Maybe streaky is the wrong word.
The Dodo leaves behind an oily appearance, like Kevin mentioned and, yes, a quick buff immediately after spreading it will keep that to a minimum. I use a two towel method. One to apply and the other to buff off. If there are areas of the oily hazy look then I'll make a quick pass with the application towel to "reactivate" it and buff off to a nice shine.
The Sonax high speed wax, I find needs to be used small sections and buffed off very quickly. Again I find a streaky appearance at times. I do the exact same as above and get good results, but with a little more care and buffing time. And do it on a very cool day or on a very cool surface. I have found on hot days, even in the shade, the wax becomes more difficult to work. Obviously the same goes for a warm surface in the sun. Best times applying have been overcast days in the mid 70s.
Both give an awesome shine very quickly. I wish I had bought more of the Dodo when it was a buy-one-get-one a few months ago.
(Maybe I'll try to do a post about applying both and the problems that I run into)

Re: Post Your Beading Shots!!!
This is of a customer's car after using Meg's Xpress Spray Wax. Light coating after the detail and a hard rain.
This pic is of the trunk of my Buick. What's interesting is that I one-stepped this with HD Speed 2 years ago and topped with HD Poxy about 3 days after applying speed. Not sure how this happened, but its cool for me to see products work like this being a rookie.
