Alien bone dust?
No wonder it was so pricey

That actually looks decent, did they mention which coating they installed?

I’ll have to dig out the paperwork
It’s certainly one I’d never heard of before and I think it’s some kind of “dealer only” brand, like the Xzylion brand they applied on the new Tacoma my wife bought in 2017
Like I said, this wasn’t my decision
It’s “guaranteed” for 10 years, just like the Expel PPF, for what that’s worth, and no, I don’t think a 10 year coating exists

Here is their very scant information
I tried to get the boss to slow her roll on all the add ons they push when you sit down with the closing guy but she just wanted out of there
If there had been other cars available I think I would have put on the brakes and done some research but there was only the one we bought that another guy was hovering around if we didn't take it and a white one and that's not happening
Who knows, it may be a good product that they source for their program because they are obviously middlemen, not chemists and blenders
Whatever is on there obviously beads well, even when its covered in road grime, so maybe I lucked out and it was money well spent (it could happen)
I guess only time will tell and I can certainly go nuclear on it and put on the good stuff if push comes to shove
I get to wash it next week and it's supposed to be colder so I will most likely go through the touchless to get the undercarriage and then do a rinseless wash in the garage
I have ONR (new formula), McKees N914, and Feynlab Rinseless to choose from for cleaning, as well as BH Auto Foam for a pre treat
For possible toppers I have Griots Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax and Griots Ceramic Speed Shine, Megs HCW, 3D Bead it Up, and good old OCW
Like I said earlier I am going to need help on this one
I am thinking Feynlab for a first cleaning after a BH pretreat using the IK foamer just to really dig down and deep clean it but if you think one of the other cleaners would be better I'd love to hear your thoughts
Out of the toppers I have I really have had the best luck with Megs HCW but that has been on bare paint so if the Griots 3 in 1 is better over ceramic let me know
Yup, after 20+ years I have come full circle and I am the newbie

From the looks of it, that product appears to indeed be a legit ceramic coating that comes in a glass vial. Only time will tell if it is a quality coating as it does have decent beading at first glance, but at least they're not trying to pass off a water based spray sealant as a ceramic coating.
Since you plan on going through the touchless, I would pretreat with BH auto foam before the touchless and then send her through. That should get the majority of the gunk off then you can do with a rinseless with N914 and top her off with Griot's ceramic speed shine if you feel like it.

So the information on the coating I gave you is not accurate, I got the name of the coating off the paperwork and warranty from the dealer and it is actually not that product
I am actually at the dealer now having them redo the interior ceramic to my satisfaction and I asked the young lady in charge of the accessories installation department if I could see the actual products they used
She brought out 2 sealed boxes, an exterior coating and an interior coating and they are boxed and labeled as "Ceramic Pro"
She opened the sealed exterior box and it is in fact a glass bottle coating and comes with applicator pad, applicator cloths, etc
It looked exactly like 20 other ceramic coatings in boxes I have seen on line
I looked up Ceramic Pro and it seems like they specialize in selling coating systems to auto dealerships and businesses and not the DIY type market
I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and just proceed like it is a name brand coating and not get hung up because I can't brag about it being the boutique brand of the month
If it lasts and performs that is all I care about at this point

I'm familiar with Ceramic Pro. They offer decent products. Many ppf shops around here offer that brand of coating with their ppf jobs.

That is encouraging, I appreciate the info
Someone cracked a whip on the "installer" because the interior looks like a totally different car now
I think maybe letting the head of the department know that I knew what I was talking about and what I was expecting possibly got me a bit of extra effort
