Re: Additives
Honda/Acura's recommend BG with every 30k service. I use that and every once in awhile I use Lucas fuel cleaner. I love that stuff.

Re: Additives
I seafoam my engine once a year, take MAF out and clean it and spray the intake. Smokes like a blew a head gasket!
I also throw some seafoam in my tank. My gas gauge started having fits and a can of seafoam knocked the ick off and it started working again or it was coincidental.
I run Mobil 1 oil, Wix/Napa Gold filters and change every 5,000 miles. Easy for me to remember.
I have 168,000 miles on the clock, get 17.75 - 18.5mpg depending how much lead I have in the right foot and how late I am on way to work, dodging deer.

Re: Additives
I put a small amount of Redline Injector cleaner in with every fill up.
NO ethanol gas, ever ! Brad Penn oil, no other additives, Techron
if I cannot get Redline.

Re: Additives
Amsoil 0w30 with an Amsoil or Wix oil filter, no additives.
STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner once every 6 months.
When I can't get Amsoil I'll use Mobil 1 or Royal Purple. I run synthetics in my engine, transmission, and power steering unit. I have 2 cars with over 150,000 miles on them, been using synthetic fluids (with the exception of brake fluid) after the first required fluid changes (for break-in purposes) and the cars still run like they were new. A lot of my friends who ride in the cars always comment on how well they run despite their high mileage

Re: Additives
I tried almost all kinds of fuel additives. Redline Si-1 that's the only thing gave me a noticable difference. I go with it every other fill up, just buy it from amazon. My second choice is bg44. Lucus is suppossed to be a good thing but I don't know why it even drops my mpg a little bit.

Re: Additives
Honda/Acura uses BG 44K for all their major services (30k, 60, 95, 105). I went to the dealer yesterday for intermittent problems starting the car and one of the first things he asked was if I've put anything under 93 octane. He recommend that I put a fuel treatment like BG 44K in every once in awhile. I've put Lucas Oil treatment in every so often. I'm gonna put BG 44K in this weekend and then again at 30K miles. It does improve your fuel system.
