    Thumbs up PDR - impressed!

in July I was forced to drive the wife's Subaru forester XT. a crack in the radiator allowed the car to be driven for around 10 miles before enough water was lost for the temp to spike.

from home to my office is around 6 miles.
she was driving my ridgeline to her office 20+ miles from home.

one fine 100+ degree day, a random storm decided to show how much hail it could produce at my office.

sure enough, it beat the "hail" out of her car. *my truck was safe! at her office*

a call to insurance, review of the damages and a free weekend to live without the car later... the paintless dent repair is complete.

I'm impressed! There were a few dents from door dings the shop removed at no extra charge! It required almost 22 hours of labor to complete.

This weekend, the plan is to wash, clay, wet-sand *in certain places*, polish, seal and wax her car. *odor bomb and head lamp polish and seal at the same time*

will post a few photos later.

anyone else had paintless dent repair and been pleased with the results?

    Re: PDR - impressed!

I've had paintless dent removal done on some door dings on a previous garage queen. What those PDR guys can do is amazing. It's very interesting to watch them do their work and I feel they're worth every penny they charge.

It's like Black Magic! Although it is like anything else, some are better than others. The guy I use now is a magician.
