I leave the turbo clip on the blower, just slide it back so it's not on the button for the times I don't want to run on max power. That way I'll never lose it

So only thing on the surface is usually at most road film.
Try out your process and see what works best for you man!

Do you use a rinseless sponge or GD method (lots of wash towels)?

I use two of the medium 15 x 24 Gauntlets when rinse-less washing a large sedan or coupe. One to mop up the excess water and spread the drying aid, the second finishes it off. I have four of them on hand.

Towels still work good after using drying aids many times?

Yes, no problem at all. And that's from using a wide variety of drying aids too, from quick detailers, gloss enhancers, spray waxes, rinse-less wash products and Si02 spray sealants.
I do wash them within a couple of hours after use in a specific microfiber detergent though. In my opinion, the specific detergent makes the most difference in keeping towels performing over an extended period.

Cool thanks, i would hate to ruin all my newish gauntlets. I did try using some of my different drying towels with bead it up as a drying aid when i did a rinsless last time on the buick. Worked well, i did not wash them yet but right after i tossed them in a bucket to soak in 3d towel kleen. Hope that works

I think that’s the ticket is I wash them when done. I actually add some F&C detergent to my MF wash.
Was in a old Griots video but the said MF detergents are there to remove waxes, sealants and polishes and the F&C gets the dirt and grime.
Also I think washing on hot has gotten more gunk out of them to keep them running
