Best Carnauba Under $50?
Best Carnauba Under $50?
I know how sensitive a subject wax is on this forum, but this next payday I am considering getting a carnauba wax. I already have Meguiar's Gold Class, which is great for DDs. But I would like to get a great wax under $50 that would look great on top of Collinite #845.
Maybe it's excessive, but I'd like to have Meg's GCC as my DD finishing wax over Collinite #845, and a premium carnauba for those who want something special.
Notes: I use Collinite #845 over Klasse AIO for general details, and Meg’s GCC as a finishing wax if desired. I’d like to have a premium offering in addition to Meg’s GCC.
What I'm looking at:
Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax will give you a deep, wet finish will exceed your expectations. car wax, carnauba paste wax, pinnacle
Pinnacle XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba Paste Wax, XMT car wax, auto wax, best show car wax
DP Max Wax- Made with pure carnauba wax and advanced polymers.
P21s Wax, P21s concours carnauba wax, p21s carnauba wax, carnauba wax, car wax
I may also what to see if a good carnauba is in the next BOGO....

I have not tried any of hose that you mentioned. However, the SSII and the MaxWax get rave reviews. Both are on my must have list.
I personally like AGHD and CG Pete's 53. Unfortunately neither are sold here.

I'm leaning P21s or XMT 180, or a possible bogo carnauba. None of the stores around me sell Autoglym, and online it's over fifty with shipping. I'm planning on getting some CarPro PERL as well this payday, so I would prefer a carnauba offered by AG; sorry I failed to mention this.

Do you mean XMT180 in that last post?
I can understand wanting to buy from AG. I get most of my stuff here as well. That is why I said what I did about the MW and XMT. I love DP and Pinnacle. Both excellent lines so I am sure the products you mentioned would allow that

Thanks for pointing that out. I corrected myself. I'm off today, so water hasn't been my choice of drink today, if you know what I mean.(Plus I just bought 4 cases at the class six tent sale.)
I like the DP products I have used as well. If the MW goes BOGO, I don't have to make up my mind. Regardless, I would still like to try all of these waxes eventually, as well as CG, Autoglym, Swissvax, and Zymol. But I'm starting small....

Hey, Ted!
Of your choices, I really like Max Wax and SSII.
But if you are speciffically looking for something to work with 845, try Collinite 915. But put the 915 down first then 845

I don't really have experience with anything other than the SSII (unless you count Meg's hi-tech yellow 26) but if 49.99 meets your price I'd recommend it. I love it on my metallic silver. The flake just pops off the car in sunlight.
