My Thoughts on Those Wonderful 99 cent Bottles at HD.
Their 99 cents for a reason! I think they're complete junk. I use to use then and I recently remembered why I don't use them any more.
I needed a couple bottle when I was visiting home a few weeks ago so I bought some hd bottles. I needed a bottle for my tire shine(blue guard) so I used a hd bottle. I had to pull all my bottles out of my trunk and I put them on my rear seat, in a milk crate. When I went to put them back the blue guard leaked every where! It leaked out of the nozzle. I forgot when the tips are open past a certain point they leak out. Also when your spraying things down after about 4-5 quick continuous squeezes the trigger stops working for a few minutes. I use to go through 5 bottles a week and I'm not doing 50 cars a week.
Just my thoughts.
Ohh and I can't get the blue out of the leather now. I haven't tried steaming it tho yet.

Lol, man I cant tell you how many I've been through. When I first put my van together I purchased 15 bottles and before the first week I was down to only 9 operating correctly. And yes, I did return all 6 of the defective bottles. Just like you've mentioned, they leak like crazy and the triggers are poorly made. But heck for 99€, I guess we can't expect too much more right. Anyhow, I went on and purchased the meguires spray bottles, so far, 5.5 months strong with no leaks or broken triggers.

I think so lol. Although i bought some of those white 32oz. Spray bottle from AG and i ended replacing the sprayers within a month i love the bottle but the sprayers arent that great. I had one just come apart and one stop working all together. Also i didn't really like the design to much the sprayer has a little plastic piece that points down on the back that digs into your hand.

The ones on B1G1? Yeah I purchased a half dozen @ ~3 bucks and cant say they are work the $6+ they are normally sold for mainly because the adjustable nozzle tips have poor QC and half of them don't have a nice spray pattern. They also tend to "jet" when you spray with too much force, which I think is due to the nozzle design and perhaps too much flex. Eh, okay for 3 bucks, but I won't be repurchasing them unless they last a very long time... I don't mind the plastic at the back of the handle, but I'm not using them all day and wear thin gloves when doing most detailing.

Yeah i use them for extended periods of time every day of the week so that little plastic piece gets annoying cause all i wear is nitrile gloves and you are right about the spray pattern being poor. I love the bottles just wish they came with better sprayers

Try out a Kawazar sprayer sometime. Very expensive, but very nice.

The best are the 36oz. with dilution ratios and a black low profile sprayer. I've been using mine for 5 years
