Tool Account
Just found out I have a "Tool Account" at work!
From what I understand, the way it works is you tell them what you want to buy and from where. They order and pay for it and deduct a certain percentage from your paycheck every week. My co-workers say people have bought laptops and such for their wives as Christmas presents this way and that I shoud be "good" to order things that dont necessarily pertain to work. Like say a steamer.....or the new Flex.....or the new Festool Shinex that has just become available in the US.
Anyone else have this at work?

I wish i could gibe myself a tool account :P but in all seriousness i do kinda do some thing like that after i work out the profit for every job i make myself put a portion of that money into an account meant for supplies and tools that way i know how muchh money goes in my pocket each job and i dont come out of pocket for tools and supplies like i used to

I think AG should sell roses lol! A single rose with a package of pads and compounds would fix ALL of our problems. Maybe even specialized poems and cards! And thanx 93 for changing your profile pic bro..... the minion made it hard to take you seriously bro lol. Nice to put a real face to a name

Hey we should ask for roses and dedicated poems in BOGO! Haha that would fix all the problems! But hey man i love the minions! I seriously spent $18 on those claw machines trying to get one out on the movie premier. I wish i had minions to help me prep the cars for when i need to paint!

Re: Tool Account
Hmmm, years ago Snap-On tools had this kinda thing. They (Snap-On) would work with the shop and the employee. It worked well, the truck would come by (often), you needed an odd goose tool (for whatever reason), you grabbed it and off you went back to work.
The draback was, you could get carried away VERY easily...LOL.
