    Re: Interesting Pets?

I have always wanted a Monkey till I visited a friends house that had one and he started throwing his poop around! Now I think my little dog is all I need.

    Re: Interesting Pets?

I had two chinchillas for a long time but have always been a fan of reptiles and I bred panther chameleons for a while and currently have a yellow uromastyx, crested gecko and breed 17 ball python morphs. I also keep fish (Rainbows and African cichlids).

Photo of my favorite panther chameleon I had.

Here is a photo I took my favorite ball morph that I have, a Piebald:

Also really like my "bumblebee" morph:

My real nice looking crested gecko (favorite gecko as they don't need to eat insects and don't like temps above 80°):

My uromastyx 'Earl' (just eats veggies and certain flower blooms),

I have three kitties here. All are insane. But I love em anyways.

    Re: Interesting Pets?

    Cats.
Never really intended to become a cat person. But about 15 years ago I found a dead litter of kittens under a bush in my backyard.
So the next time I saw the feral momma cat getting fatter I kept a real close eye on her. After the kittens were born I caught all the kittens that had survived and kept handling and feeding them until they were just like housecats. And I trapped momma and got her fixed. She is still living in my backyard today. All her kittens are still with me as housecats (two sisters). All told I have trapped 17 feral cats in my backyard and have gotten them all fixed. Over the years all but three have died off or just gone missing. They get fed twice a day. Today I have four remaining cats as housecats. All fixed, of course. And the two mamma cats and one huge male that showed up a few months ago.
After all these years of catch, fix, and release we no longer have a feral cat pack roaming the neighborhood. And the songbirds have returned.

    Re: Interesting Pets?

I thought this thread was about interesting pets, not post pictures of your pet no matter what it is.

To those that posted their very strange pets, thanks. It's been fun seeing what some people have at their house, even if it makes my skin crawl!!
