Re: New Price List: NEED HELP
Sully,
I think it looks really good, but if I may offer some constructive criticism, make sure you go through your document with a fine tooth comb before you go to publishing. There are a couple minor typos (curried instead of cured, $40 and hour, etc.). These are very minor, but the first impression someone has of your business may very well be through your advertisement or flyer. I frequently see advertisements with errors, and my first thought is usually "this person did not spend enough time or pay enough attention to get his flyer right, why would he put any more effort into (whatever his product is)?" So please don't take this the wrong way. I can tell you are very professional and conscientious, just trying to help!

I'm glad you have others looking over it as well. First impressions are quite important. Make sure one is an English teacher. They seem to be the best.
I love to read and edit scientific manuscripts even if I have no idea what they are talking about. Some are better at it than others.

Tons of options which is awesome and you do good work! However, personally, I wouldn't offer wax application without at least claying the car(unless it's a maintenance plan). You'll wash the car, but most likely the clear coat will still be contaminated, if not heavily contaminated. I don't see a point of applying a wax for looks or durability if that's the case. JMO.

Looks good Shawn. You have a very nice breakdown of services. I'm not sure I could get away with $40/hr. for correction work here in the 'Burg, but seems like a fair rate considering the amount of work that goes into correction. lol My pockets would be a LOT heavier if I charged and hourly rate for correction. lol

I dont offer that because most clear coats will get marred by clay. So thay is why i only clay the car if they are getting a polish or correction

I had a feeling you would mention that, and I understand. However, IMO, if you clay correctly(which I know you do), micro-marring shouldn't be a big issue. Plus, a coat of wax should easily cover up any micro-marring left behind. I still think this would be a much better situation than applying a wax to a contaminated clear coat for looks and durability. On the other hand, I don't offer a full on detailing business like you do, so I can be more picky than you. Most people don't know the difference between applying a wax to a contaminated or uncontaminated clearcoat anyway.
